Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended?  Who hath gathered the wind in his fists?  Who hath bound the waters in a garment?  Who hath established all the ends of the earth?  What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, if thou canst tell? (Proverbs 30:4).

Therefore My people shall know My name: therefore they shall know

in that day that I am He that doth speak: behold, it is I. (Is. 52:6)

What does your heavenly FATHER require of you?

Perhaps you have never heard of your heavenly Father’s name which He demands all His sons and daughters must know. “What is His name, can you tell?”

I Am YAHWEH: that is My name: and My glory

will I not give to another, neither My praise to

graven images.  (Isaiah 42:8).

YAHWEH is the sacred and the only name of the Creator of the universe.  He revealed His name to Israel in Egypt, His firstborn.  “YAHWEH is My name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations” (Exodus 3:15).  It’s everlasting name.  Take a few minutes to find out below the consequences that await those who reject His name.

The Greek-Roman-English writers changed and replaced His name in the Bible everywhere the capitalized words LORD, GOD, or JEHOVAH were used (about 7,000 times). The original name in Hebrew is יהוה, spelled YHWH in English and pronounced “Yahweh”.  Short form of His name is YAH.  “Sing unto YAHWEH, sing praises to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by His name YAH, and rejoice before Him.   For instance, the word “Hallelu-Yah” means, “Praise ye Yah” (Psalm 68:4 NKJV).

How dangerous is it to add or subtract from the Scriptures?  “For I testify unto every man that heareth the Words of the prophecy of this Book, If any man shall add unto these things, YAHWEH shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:  And if any man shall take away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, YAHWEH shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this Book” (Revelation 22:18-19).  Yahweh pronounced a curse on anyone who will change His name and replace it with a title.  Some people have fallen under the condemnation of this curse: “And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.  If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto My name, saith YAHWEH of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart” (Malachi 2:1-2).  “If you REFUSE to obey all the WORDS OF INSTRUCTION (LAW) that are written in this Book, and if you do not fear the glorious and awesome NAME OF YAHWEH your FATHER, then YAHWEH will overwhelm you and your children with indescribable plagues.  These plagues will be intense and without relief, making you miserable and unbearably sick” (Deuteronomy. 28:58-59 ESV).  YAHWEH’s warning to His people: “And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect (becareful): and make no mention of the name of other mighty ones (gods), neither let it be heard out of thy mouth” (Exodus 23:13).

To whom were the truths of Scripture committed?  The Biblical truths, oracles or covenant were committed to Israel. “…Much every way…because that unto them were committed the oracles of YAHWEH.”  “Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of YAHWEH, and the promises. (Romans 3:1-2; 9:4).

What do the Jews say about the Creator’s name? The true pronunciation of the name YHWH was never lost.  Several early writers testify that the name was pronounced ‘Yahweh’ (see Encyclopedia Judaica, vol. 7, p. 679).  SALVATION of Israel, past and future is in His name YAHWEH.  “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YAHWEH shall be saved (Joel 2:32; also Acts 2:21).

YAHWEH’S Requirements

What does Yahweh require of His people?  YAHWEH requires His people to fear Him and keep His Commandments: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear YAHWEH, and keep His Commandments: for this is the whole duty of man” (Ecclesiastes 12:13).  His TORAH or LAW is the first five Books of the Bible.  YAHWEH summarised the LAW and inscribed it in two tablets of stone and called it the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17; Deuteronomy 5:7-21).  The Law and the Ten Commandments are contained in the Book of the Covenant, first sealed with the blood of animals, and later renewed with the Blood of YAHSHUA MESSIAH (Exodus 24:6-8; Hebrews 9:12-13,19-20,26; Matthew 26:26-29).  What is the result of disobeying the Law or Commandments?  To disobey the Law is to commit sin. “Whosoever committeth SIN transgresseth (breaks) also the LAW: for sin is the transgression of the Law” (1 John 3:4).  Unrepentant Law breaker shall not enter into His Kingdom (Matthew 5:19; Luke 13:3,5; James 2:10; Proverbs 19:5; Romans 6:23; 1 John 2:3-4; Romans 7:12; Romans 3:31).

YAHSHUA – SALVATION

What is mankind’s punishment for sinning?  “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of YAHWEH is everlasting life through YAHSHUA MESSIAH our SAVIOUR & MASTER” (Romans 6:23).  The Bible writers replaced the Son’s name “YAHSHUA” with “Jesus” in some places “Jehovah” (see Encyclopedia Americana, Vol. 16 p. 38).  “Jehovah” is not the Creator’s name (Jehovah is only about 500 years old).  Also the name “Jesus” came recently, thus fulfilling prediction of Moses that Israel in the latter days shall serve a new god that come recently where they are scattered (Deut. 4:27-31; 32:17).  According to Greek and Hebrew Dictionaries of the Bible, the true name of the Son is YAHSHUA. YAHSHUA means YAHWEH SAVES.  “…you shall call His name YAHSHUA: for He shall SAVE His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21; Luke 1:31-32; see Exod. 23:21; Num. 13:16; Is. 59:20).  Only one name gives salvation: “Be it known …that by the name of Yahshua the Messiah of Nazareth…Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:10, 12; Joel 2:32).  What if I insist on the name of “Jesus”?  If the name of YAHSHUA is made known to you, do not harden your heart, repent immediately, and sin no more (John 8:11).  If you refuse to repent, you will be committing sin.  Notice, “And the times of this ignorance YAHWEH winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30).  By YAHSHUA you are forgiven your sins.  “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.  But YAHWEH commandeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, the Messiah died for us” (Romans 5:7-8).  Is it really possible to live without sinning?  Yes!  This is the reason you given the Holy Spirit to enable you obey the LAW, therefore: ”I can do all things through the Messiah which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).

COVENANT

YAHWEH had related with mankind from onset through covenant, e.g. Adam (Genesis 2:16-17; 3:15); Noah (Genesis Chapter 9); Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, etc (Genesis Chapters 12; 13; 15; 17 etc.).  You cannot enter into YAHWEH’s kingdom without keeping His Covenant (see Exodus 19:5,6; 24:6-8; Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32; Hebrews Chapter 9).  This may sound strange but it is Biblical truth.  The Creator of the universe enters into a Covenant to define relationship between Him and His people in the earth.  What does His Covenant consist?  It consists His LAWS.  Notice that since creation His Covenant has been the major instruments of binding Himself with his people, and in this latter days, He promise to write it in the hearts of His people. “This is the Covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith Yahweh, I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them” (Hebrews 10:16).   “Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them” (Ezekiel 36:25-27).  To enter into the kingdom, keep the Commandments of YAHWEH and the faith of YAHSHUA.  To enter into the kingdom (Revelation 14:12).
