INTRODUCTION

The beliefs of Assembly of the Living Yahweh, aka, Living Truth Ministry, are not limited to those stated in this booklet.  This is not a comprehensive doctrinal compilation, but provides a summary of the Assembly beliefs, doctrines and teachings. The beliefs give direction to Biblical teachings which have its foundation on the faith of Yahshua Messiah and obedience to the Commandments of Yahweh.  Explanations of other teachings of ALY may be found in our other published literatures and research papers.  All such materials are also available online in our Website pages.  You are free to request copies of our booklets and research articles, and they would be sent to you free of charge.

Assembly of The Living Yahweh is part of the body of the ASSEMBLY of Yahshua Messiah founded in the early first century.  In line with Scriptures, we follow the same doctrine, teaching and practice established by Yahshua Messiah and taught by His Disciples and Apostles who set the example for us to follow. Our Vision is to tell people to repent from SIN and to escape from impending Great Tribulation and Wrath of Yahweh as Babylon (‘world of iniquity’) is Falling.  Our Mission is to strive to enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh. Whilst we await the return of Yahshua Messiah for the Kingdom, we endeavour to obey YAHWEH’S blessed and sacred WORDS; proclaim the TRUTH of Yahshua Messiah; preach the gospel of the coming Kingdom of Yahweh to mankind across the world as witness; and to teach people to keep and to do what YAHWEH the Father and Yahshua Messiah commanded. Doing and teaching His Words are crucial for growing in grace, and in the knowledge of our YAHWEH and SAVIOUR YAHSHUA MESSIAH.  We believe that Yahshua will soon return into this Earth to establish the Kingdom of YAHWEH that will last forever.

FATHER & SON’S NAME

We believe the Word of our FATHER that says, “My people shall know My Name” (Isaiah 52:6). The Scripture asks: “What is His Name, and What is His Son’s Name, If you know?” (Proverbs 30:4).  FATHER wants us to know His proper Name and the Son’s proper Name.  Set Apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) guided us to discover our FATHER’S true sacred Name [not title] revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:15 – “YHWH” (pronounced: YAHWEH); and the SON’S true sacred Name [not title] revealed to Joseph in Matthew 1:21 – “YAHSHUA”.  The reason He made His Name known to us is because ONLY His Name has the POWER to SAVE the lost [Joel 2:32; Acts 12:4].  We are concerned that calling Him by other name(s) He did not authorise will result in taking His Name in vain.  It will constitute worship of idol or “Baal” [‘LORD’], which attracts a curse and punishment by death [Exodus 20:5,7; Malachi 2:1-3; Leviticus 24:16; Romans 2:24].  Father wants us to know His Name and call Him by it, and NEVER to call Him by names of Gentile gods because He can never share His glory with Baal, or idols or carved images (Isaiah 42:8; Jeremiah 2:11-13; 23:26-27].  He made it clear that we must separate ourselves from calling or mentioning idol names.  “And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect (becareful): and make no mention of the name of other mighty ones, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth” (Exodus 23:13; Joshua 23:7; Job 16:4; Psalms  16:4; Psalms 96:5; Proverbs 16:4; Isaiah 26:13; Isaiah 42:8; also see 2 Cor. 6:14-17).  In time past, Israelites lost His Name and caused Gentile world to blaspheme His Name.  It is forbidden for us to forget His Name and call the name of “Baal” (“the Lord”).  Baal is Gentile sun-god found in English Bibles as “the Lord” or “God”.  We are called to KNOW His Name and to fear Him (Isaiah 52:4-5).  Notice, “But for you who fear my Name, the Sun of Righteousness (Messiah) shall rise with healing in its wings.  You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall” [Malachi 4:2].

We believe that the doctrine of the FATHER is one, and His Salvation is one, as given to the Jews through Yahshua.  Therefore, since salvation is of the Jews [not Greeks or Gentiles], we must live by every WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh Who gave His oracles to the Jews [John 7:16-17; John 4:22; Matthew 4:4].  The doctrine of the Father, which is the same for the Jews and Gentiles that are called into One Yahweh, One Yahshua, and One Spirit, is documented for us in His Scriptures.  “All Scripture [both the Old and New Testaments] is given by inspiration of Yahweh and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” [2Timothy 3:14-16]. The Bible is His truth and is of no private interpretation [2Peter 1:21]. We must neither add nor take away from the Scriptures [Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; Rev. 22:18].

 NAME OF OUR ASSEMBLY

“But if I tarry long that thou mayest know how thou
oughtest to behave thyself in the house of Yahweh,
which is the Assembly of the Living YAHWEH,
the pillar and ground of the truth”
(1 Tim. 3:15, RSB)

Based on the Biblical name of Yahweh’s Assembly, we are herein known and called ASSEMBLY OF THE LIVING YAHWEH (1 Timothy 3:15).  Members’ beliefs are from the WORD of YAHWEH our FATHER whose doctrine the Sovereign YAHSHUA MESSIAH taught as contain in the Holy Bible (John 7:16-17; John 6:45; Isaiah 54:13).

 ORIGIN OF ASSEMBLY

Taking hold of the Holy Bible and following examples laid down to us by Yahshua Messiah, we hold that Assembly of the Living Yahweh (ALY) originates from the Assembly Yahshua Messiah founded in the early first century (Matthew 16:18; Acts 2) which is HIS BODY. We follow the same teaching, doctrine and practice established by Yahshua Messiah. We endeavour to keep the COMMANDMENTS and FAITH of Yahshua, and OBEY YAHWEH’S sacred WORDS, COMMANDMENTS, LAWS, STATUTES and JUDGEMENTS as directed by our Heavenly FATHER; we preach the gospel of His coming Kingdom on Earth to all peoples of the world; and we teach people to keep and to do what Yahweh commanded. We believe that Yahshua, the Son of the Living Yahweh, will soon return into this Earth to establish the Government of the Father, Yahweh, that will last forever.

This Assembly started in the Family of our Brother Goodwins Arikibe about 10th April 2014 after receiving inspiration from Set Apart Spirit to leave ‘The Redeemed Christian Church of God’ (Gentile religious body) after 27 years with them.  About 10th April he and his family resigned from the erstwhile Church, and they remained at home in Stoke-on-Trent, U.K, worshipping Yahweh on Sabbath days as they receive direction from His Spirit.  By 13th December 2014 the family was led to step out of their home into public domain in a rented accommodation to worship Yahweh on the Sabbath days. Thereafter, the Assembly was registered with the Charity Commission, U.K. as ‘The Living Church of God’ on 12th March 2015.  But when the proper NAME [not titles] of the FATHER, YAHWEH, and the SON, YAHSHUA was revealed to our Brother, the name was changed and re-registered as ASSEMBLY OF THE LIVING YAHWEH on 27th March 2018.  Therefore the contents below are our beliefs drawn from the Holy Bible.

OUR BELIEFS

1. HOLY BIBLE

We belief in the Holy Bible as the inspired WORD of Yahweh, which depicts His Laws, Testimonies and Revelations to all mankind.  The Bible is the basis of our faith and doctrine. We believe the Bible is inerrant in its original manuscripts and is the authoritative foundation for all true knowledge. Matt. 4:4; Lk. 4:4; 2 Tim. 3: 16 – 17; 2 Peter 1: 20 – 21; John 17: 17.

Our doctrine is from the living WORD of Yahweh as taught by true Prophets, Yahshua Messiah and His Apostles.  It is the basis of Assembly doctrine:

“But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone; but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of YAHWEH”  [Matt. 4:4; Lk. 4:4].
“All scripture is given by inspiration of YAHWEH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; That the man of YAHWEH may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” [2 Tim. 3: 16 – 17; 2 Peter 1: 20 – 21].

2. FATHER

Do you know His Name? [Proverbs 30:4). We believe the Eternal Name of our Father is YAHWEH [YHWH] as He revealed to Moses to pass on to Israel (Exodus 3:15).  YAHWEH is “I AM”, Without Beginning and Without End.  YAHWEH is His only name given to mankind.  YAHWEH is ETERNAL; He is SALVATION of mankind (Joel 2:32; Acts 4:12).  In the days of Patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), He reveals: “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the title Name SHADDAI, i.e. “ALMIGHTY”, but by my Name YAHWEH was I not known to them” (Exodus 6:3; Genesis 17:1; Ezekiel 20:5; Matthew 22:32; Mark 12:27; Luke 20:38].  Shaddai is title, not Name.  His NAME is revealed to us and we serve and worship Him by His NAME, YAHWEH. Indeed, He appeared to the Patriarchs through the WORD, YAHSHUA, Whom He sent always, because no one has “neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape (Rev. 19:13; Jn. 1:1-3,14; Jn. 5:37; 1 Tim. 6:16; Jn. 1:18; Jn. 3:13;1 Jn. 4:12; Ex. 33:20-23).  YAHWEH is the Creator Who created all things through His WORD “YAHSHUA” see Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3,14; Revelation 19:13).  He is the FATHER of all creatures; His Name resonates in titles as: I AM, ETERNAL, SALVATION, GLORY (Isaiah 42:8), Supreme Creator of Heavens and Earth, Source of life, Divine Father of Yahshua Messiah, Self-Existing Spirit, the Epitome of Salvation, Love, Peace, Joy, Faith, Wisdom, Justice, Power, Goodness, Mercy, etc. YAHWEH is the Sovereign Ruler and Sustainer of all that is.  In this last days, those that will call upon the Name of “YAHWEH” will be saved.  Notice, “And everyone who calls on the Name of YAHWEH will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance as YAHWEH has said, even among the survivors whom YAHWEH calls” (Joel 2:32).

There is ONE indivisible YAHWEH who must be loved and worshipped:

“Hear, O Israel: YAHWEH our FATHER is one YAHWEH: And thou shalt love YAHWEH thy FATHER with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”  (Deut. 6: 4 – 5).  This is called the SHEMA.
“And that there is none other YAHWEH but one” (1 Corinthians 8: 4).

Scripture shows that YAHWEH is a divine Family Name, which began with YAHWEH the Father and the Word (i.e. Yahshua Messiah, the Son) – Gen. 1: 26; John 1:1-3,14; Heb. 2: 10 – 11.  The Father and the Word are ONE (John 10:30).  “For this reason [we] bow [our] knees before the FATHER, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being.” (Eph. 3: 14). YAHWEH is Spirit and Eternal: YAHWEH, our FATHER is the Supreme Head.  Yahshua Messiah said that He was sent to reveal the Father (Matt. 11:27; John 1: 18; 17: 24 – 26). Yahshua acknowledged that “the Father is greater than I” (John 14:28; 10: 29).  “If ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.” (John 14:7, 9 – 11; 10:38; 5:36). Meaning that, the Father and the Son are Family, and ONE (John 10: 30).  Our heavenly FATHER, YAHWEH, does not bear or answer Gentile idol names that originated from Jews, Greek, Latin and English, e.g. Adonai, the Lord, God, Jehovah, El, Elohim, etc.

Warning: YAHWEH warns us that no idol name should be mentioned from our mouth because He cannot share His Name or Glory with idols or carved images.  Therefore, we must separate ourselves from idols (see Exodus 23:13; Isaiah 42:8; Joshua 23:7; Job 16:4; Psalms 16:4; Psalms 96:5; Proverbs 16:4; Isaiah 26:13; Isaiah 42:8; also see Number 16:21; Neh. 10:28; Eph. 5:7; 2 Cor. 6:14-17; 1 Jn. 2:15-17; 1 Jn. 5:21).

3. SON

We believe that Yahshua Messiah is the “Word”, the Son of Yahweh; He was born of a virgin; He lived a sinless life; He died a cruel death; He was raised to life after three days and three nights, and ascended to heaven where He reigns with His Father (Matthew 1:18-23; 16:16; Hebrews 4:14-15; Matthew 28:1-9; Acts 1:9-22). We believe that through Him, “the WORD”, the Father created all things (Genesis 1:1,3,8; Psalm 33:6; Proverbs 8:22-30; John 1: 1 – 3; John 1:10; John 17:5;  Hebrew 1:2; Colossians 1:15,16; Colossians 4:16;  Revelation 3:14; 1 John 2:13; Revelation 19:13). Yahshua of Nazareth is our Saviour; He became fully human; the “only begotten Son” of the Father (John 1: 14, 18; 3: 16, 18) and Saviour of all mankind (1 John 4:14; Acts 4:12).  He died our death because of our sins, he was buried, and resurrected by the power of the Father that we might be saved from eternal death (Acts 4: 10 – 12).  He now sits at the Father’s right hand and acts as our High Priest and as the Living Head of the Assembly (Eph. 1: 22 – 23; Heb. 4: 14 – 16).  Yahshua is the Messiah who will soon come again to establish His Father’s Kingdom over all the earth. Yahshua preached and taught mankind the Father’s doctrine, and not His own.  “And the Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?  Yahshua answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but His that sent me.  If any man will do His will (Father’s), he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of Yahweh, or whether I speak of myself” (John 7:15-17).  We believe that those who repent of their sins and believe, and receive baptism in the Name of YAHSHUA are pardoned of their sin, and are justified and made heir with Him of eternal life (Romans 8:15-17; Acts 2:38).  Though Yahshua and the Father are one in character but they are not equal in hierarchy of authority, for the Father is the head of the Son and greater than the Son; while the Son is the head and the body of the Assembly.  The SPIRIT revealed to us that the Name of the Son is YAHSHUA and He is our HAMASHIACH (MESSIAH) and SAVIOUR (Matthew 1:21; Acts 4:12).

Warning: Just as our Father commanded us, we must never mention the name of idol (engraved or carved image) from our mouth (Exodus 23:13; Isaiah 42:8; Joshua 23:7, see “Father” above).  These Gentile idol names found in Jewish, Greek, Latin and English Bibles do not apply to YAHSHUA, and therefore must be avoided: Jesus, Christ, Lord, God, Jehovah, etc.

4. HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that Set Apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) is the promise of the Father (Acts 2:28-39; Ezekiel 36:26-27; Jeremiah 31:31-33,4).  Holy Spirit is the Father’s gift to those who receive Yahshua, and are baptised into Him [followed by ‘laying on hands’ by an Elder who may be a Pastor, Apostle, Evangelist, etc.]. The Holy Spirit is the Power of Father and Yahshua Messiah.  Holy Spirit is the Life, Love, Wisdom, Mind, Holiness, Power, Mercy, and entire multitude of the divine characteristics of YAHWEH.  Set Apart Spirit is not a separate third member of YAHWEH because there is no ‘Trinity’.  Trinity is commandment of men or tradition of elders.  It does not exist. Believers become Children of YAHWEH when His Spirit is first imparted to them. And they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (Jn. 4: 24).  All believers are required to possess the Holy Spirit if they must enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh. The HOLY SPIRIT resides in YAHWEH and in YAHSHUA.  The Spirit is of the Father and the Son.

“Now YAHWEH is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of YAHWEH is, there is liberty...” (2 Corinthians 3: 17 – 18).  “And because ye are sons, YAHWEH hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father...” (Galatians 4: 6; also see, Rom. 8: 15).

This fulfils Yahshua’s promise to be with us to the close of the age.

“…And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20).

Following this promise and assurance to be with His people to the close of the age, it means Yahshua is with His Assembly today in His Spirit; so Yahshua is that SPIRIT.  Thus, the notion of third person Trinity is not Biblical and does not exist.

The Spirit is inherent in the Father and the Son, and emanates from them throughout the entire universe (1 Kings 8: 27; Psalm 139: 7; Jeremiah 23: 24).  The Holy Spirit is the very essence, mind, life and power of YAHWEH.  Through the Spirit, YAHWEH created all things (Gen. 1: 1 – 2; Rev. 4: 11).  Holy Spirit is the power by which Messiah maintains the universe (Hebrews 1: 2 – 3).  Holy Spirit is given to all who repent of their sins and are baptised (Acts 2: 38 – 39).  He is the power (Acts 1: 8; 2 Timothy 1: 6 – 7) by which all believers may be “overcomers” (Romans 8: 37; Rev. 2: 26 – 27) and will be led to eternal life. He reproves the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement (John 16: 8).  He is the Spirit of truth; He guides believers into all truth; He does not speak of Himself; “but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak; and He will show you things to come.” (John 16: 13).  He glorifies Yahweh and receives from Yahweh and He show what He receives unto us (v. 14).

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11). These gifts help us to do the ‘good works’ of the Father as well as obey His Commandments. Holy Spirit gifts helps us to grow in the grace, and knowledge of Yahshua Messiah.

5. MAN

Man was created in the image and likeness of YAHWEH. Man is mortal without the possibility of eternal life inherent in himself, except and until he receives the Holy Spirit of YAHWEH with the ‘laying on of hands’ at baptism. Man without the Holy Spirit will live under the influence of human nature – controlled by the prince of the air and ‘god’ of this world – Satan. The influence of Satan holds every human being on earth captive except those that have surrendered to Yahshua and His Spirit. The very purpose of man’s existence is to ultimately be born into the Family of YAHWEH, to serve and honour the FATHER. We are children of YAHWEH, heirs of the promise, joint heirs with YAHSHUA, Who was covenanted to inherit the Kingdom (LAND OF ISRAEL) with His brethren. The Almighty YAHWEH is our FATHER; and Yahshua is our MASTER and our Sovereign Saviour.  We are all BRETHREN – all ISRAELITES.

“But be ye not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Messiah; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your FATHER, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your MASTER, even MESSIAH” (Matthew. 23: 7 - 10).

6. DISCIPLE

We believe YAHSHUA MESSIAH called those who hear His Word and Do them His Disciples.  “As He spake these Words, many believed on Him.  Then said Yahshua to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in My WORD, then are ye My DISCIPLES indeed” (John 8:30-31).  A Disciple is a faithful servant of Yahshua Messiah who has denied self to follow Him and DO what He says.  A Disciple believes in Yahshua and continues in obeying the WORD of the FATHER as taught by Him.  A Disciple takes his stake and follow Yahshua daily (when convenient and when not).  A Disciple forgives one another.  A Disciple is a holy person of Yahshua, and contentment is his or her great gain.  Since the love of money is the root of all evil, which while some coveted after and erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows; disciples depend on Yahshua Messiah for their prosperity and wealth.  The power to get wealth belongs to Yahweh, and He adds to the Disciple things he needs.  A Disciple flees from unrighteous acts including pursuit of money at all cost. He seek after righteousness, kingdom of Yahweh, holiness, faith, love, patience, meekness, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, etc.  A Disciple flees also from worldliness and youthful lusts (eyes, flesh and pride of life); he follows…charity, peace, with them that call on YAHWEH out of a pure heart (2 Tim. 2:22).  A Disciple seeks first the kingdom of Yahweh, and His righteousness and wait on Yahweh to add all other things to him.  Those who uphold the character of Discipleship as depicted above are also called the ‘little flock’ whom the Father has pleasure to give His kingdom [Luke 12:32].  A Disciple keeps his love and faith in Messiah Yahshua in time of temptation, trial, and persecution.  A Disciple rejoices in the Holy Spirit always in-spite of hurt or evil around.  A Disciple is a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar person, that show forth the praises of Him that called him out of darkness into His marvellous light.  A Disciple is a salt and light of this world that guides the lost to YAHSHUA MESSIAH (Matt. 5:14-15).  And the Father will usher him or her into His kingdom to reign with YAHSHUA Messiah on His return on the earth. Though the Disciples are not many but they shall rule the earth with Messiah. Our profession is to be the Disciples of Yahshua Messiah, as we deny ourselves and take up His stake and follow Him.  It’s our desire to be transformed from discipleship to mature pastors, apostles, teachers, or evangelists, to saints that bring others to Yahshua (Ephesians 4:11-12).  By the grace of YAHWEH and the guidance of Yahshua’s Spirit, anyone who the Father brings into Assembly of the Living Yahweh should endeavour to learn from His doctrine so that he/she perfect into saint that will help to accomplish the work of the Ministry, necessary for the edifying of the body of MESSIAH, and subsequently attain to the measure of the stature of the fullness of MESSIAH.

“Then said Yahshua unto His Disciples, If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself, and take up his stake, and follow Me.” [Matt. 16: 24].
“And He [YAHSHUA] gave some apostles; and some, prophets, and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Messiah: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of YAHWEH, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah.” [Ephesians 4:11-13].

Read: Matt. 8: 30-31; Matt 16: 24; Luke 14: 26 – 27, 33; Matt. 19: 17 – 26; Matt. 19: 27-30; Mark 10: 29-31; Matt 6: 12, 14-15; Matt. 6: 24-32; 1 Tim. 6, 10; 2 Tim. 2: 22; Matt. 6: 33; Luke 12: 32; 1 Peter 2: 9. Rev. 1:6; 5:10; 20:6. Matt. 5: 10-12; Matt. 5: 13, 14; Matt. 20: 16; 22: 14; Deuteronomy 10:8,9,12-13; Jeremiah 3:15; Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Corinthians 12:28).

7. LOVE

We believe that LOVE of YAHWEH and YAHSHUA MESSIAH is number one character we must possess, followed by love for brethren.  As people created in the image of YAHWEH Who is LOVE, we ought to love Him with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our might (Deuteronomy 6:4-5). “He that dwells in love dwells in YAHWEH, and YAHWEH in him” (1 John 4:16). Love is the fulfilment of the LAW. YAHSHUA summarised the Ten Commandments Law as LOVE, and He called it a New Commandment.  Love is the first fruit of the Holy Spirit.  YAHSHUA declared that loving one another is the way the world will know that we are His Disciples.  The only way we can love the Father and the Son is to keep the Father’s Commandments (1 John 2:3-4; John 14:15,21; John 15:10). Since keeping the Commandments and love is synonymous, we in Assembly of the Living Yahweh value the LOVE of the Father, the Son and one another as character of YAHWEH we must inherit (Galatians 5:22-23).  We believe LOVE is the fulfilment of the commandments – “love YAHWEH with all thy heart…love thy neighbour as thyself” (Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Exodus 20:2-17; Romans 13:9).

“He that loveth not knoweth not YAHWEH; for YAHWEH is love.” 1 Jn. 4:8.

In Assembly of  the Living Yahweh, we preach against hatred, and endeavour to LOVE one another, because:

“If a man say, I love YAHWEH, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love YAHWEH whom he hath not seen?  And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth YAHWEH love his brother also. 1 Jn. 4:20-21; 1 Jn. 3:11.

The Apostolic Church obeyed YAHWEH’S commandments and kept Yahshua’s charge to love one another.  If it worked for the early Assembly, even Philadelphian Assembly, in Yahshua’s name, it will work for us – because the whole Commandments is LOVE in which believers bind themselves as family of YAHWEH – Acts 2: 42-47; James 2: 15-16; Matthew 22: 35 – 40;  John 13: 34 – 35; 14: 15; 14:10; 15: 12; Gal. 5: 22 – 23; 1 John 2: 5, 10 – 11; 1 John 3: 11; 1 John 4: 8, 9-12, 16, 21; 1 John 5: 1 – 3; Luke 10: 30 – 37.

8. THE GOSPEL

We believe that the Gospel of Messiah Yahshua is the “Good News” of the soon-coming Kingdom or Government of Yahweh on Earth.  The gospel includes forgiveness of our sins by Yahweh through Messiah Yahshua’s sacrifice for us at the stake. Messiah’s Gospel of the Kingdom reveals the means through which we are to be qualified by YAHWEH to be ruling members of His Kingdom (Acts 2:38-39; Mark 1:14-15; Matthew 24:14; Acts 8:12; 17:7; 28:30-31; Revelation 2:26-27; 1:6; 5:10; 20:6).

9. SALVATION

Salvation is Yahweh’s gift by grace through faith in Yahshua Messiah (Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 2:15; Romans 5:10).  Upon repentance of sin and baptising in the Name of Yahshua, Yahweh bestows us with His Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).  We then begin an on-going process of “being saved” as we grow in the grace and knowledge of Messiah (2 Peter 3:18). Salvation is a life-long process.  Our salvation is completed at the resurrection or change of earthly body when we will be given a new spirit body [born again] that will be saved and secured into eternity (1 Corinthians 15:50-54). Yahweh’s plan of Salvation is documented in the Biblical Feasts and Sabbaths.  Keeping these Feasts or Festivals gives us deeper knowledge on Yahweh’s master Plan of Salvation.  Bible records that Salvation for the Kingdom of Yahweh takes the following brief description.

STEPS TOWARD SALVATION:

Faith in Yahshua Messiah and Keeping the Words of the Father

The first important step toward salvation is coming to complete faith in Yahweh and in Messiah’s sacrifice (Hebrews 6:1; 11:6), as well as obeying and keeping the Words of the Father (Revelation 3:10; 12:17; 14:12). Peter said, “be baptized in the name of Yahshua Messiah for the remission of sins” (Acts 2:36-38).  As believers we are commanded to keep the commandments of Yahweh, and have faith in YAHSHUA

i. Repentance of Sin

A vital step toward salvation is repentance from sin.  Sin is biblically defined as “transgression of the Law” (1 John 3:4).  Repentance includes turning from serving and worshipping idol to serving and worshipping YAHWEH.  When one stops breaking the Covenant Commandments of YAHWEH and begins to worship Him, it showcases he or she has repented from breaking the law. It means one has stopped breaking Yahweh’s laws.  As the New Testament Assembly began, Peter was inspired to command, “Repent, and be baptised every one of you…” (Acts 2:38).  Since every human being has sinned (Romans 3:23), and the penalty of sin is death (Romans 6:23), each sinner must turn from breaking Yahweh’s law, and be willing to obey His Maker through Messiah living within him (Galatians 2:20).  Notice: He that breaks one of the commandments, breaks all the rest. The commandments is ONE bundle that can never be broken (James 2:8-12).  Ten Commandments called the Royal Law or Law of Liberty, is the seal of Yahweh’s Covenant which cannot be broken – Psalm 89:34; also Psalm 78: 10); Jeremiah 31:31-33.

ii. Baptism by immersion

Salvation is a journey: It begins by Yahweh calling us out from the world to repent all our sins (Mark 1:14-15).  Yahweh hands us over to Yahshua whom we accept as our Sovereign Master and Saviour.  Next, if one believes in YAHSHUA he or she undertakes water immersion [baptism] in the Name of Yahshua (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 8:35-39; 9:1-18).  Baptism by immersion is a sign of total surrender to Yahweh, and willingness to be buried into Yahshua’s death so that our sins are left in the water-grave as we rise into a new life. “We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death…” (Romans 6:4, also read 6:3-11). By water baptism, we affirm not to break His laws againWe affirm to have absolute faith in Yahshua Messiah and to follow Him to the end. The ultimate GRACE of the Father is bestowed on us as ‘hands is laid’ immediately after baptism, where the believer receives the Holy Spirit.

Baptism and Washing: “…Be baptised and wash your sins away…” The act of washing is an obvious picture of baptism due to the use of water.  In baptism our sins are washed away. Notice what Ananias said to Saul: “Get up, be baptised and wash your sins away…” [Exodus 40:31-32; Leviticus 8:6; Acts 22:16; see also, 1 Corinthians 6:11 and Ephesians 5:26).  Baptism sets us for our rebirth. “He saved us through the washing of rebirth” (Titus 3:5-7).  ‘Washing of rebirth’ references “born of water” which is the beginning of the “Spirit” act of our character transformation and behaviour until we are finally “born again” into the family of Yahweh (John 3:3,5).  Yahshua says, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of Yahweh unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit” (verse 5,6). Therefore water immersion baptism and Spirit birth (‘born again’) are important qualifications to enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh.

iii. Receiving YAHWEH’S Grace

We believe that Salvation is the result of the application of both Yahweh’s “law” and His “Grace” (Gk. charis). “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it [that faith] is the gift of Yahweh, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9)!  We are “justified by His [Messiah’s] Blood” and are “reconciled to Yahweh through the death of His Son [and] we shall be saved by His life” (Romans 5:9-10).  Notice that the Fruit of the Spirit is embodiment of GRACE: “But the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: AGAINST SUCH THERE IS NO LAW” (Galatians 5:22-23).  In order words, without the GRACE in the SPIRIT the LAW has no effect, or cannot be obeyed.  The fruit gift of the SPIRIT empowers believers to obey YAHWEH’S Covenant Commandments.  This is where YAHWEH’S LAW and GRACE permits salvation.  YAHSHUA told the rich young ruler, if you must be perfect or righteous or earn salvation, or enter into the kingdom, keep the commandments…and follow me.  Meaning: keep the commandments and have faith in Yahshua.  This fulfils “Grace” and “Law”.  To receive salvation we must follow Yahshua, i.e. have faith in Him, and He gives us His Spirit (Grace) so as to keep the Law.  That is how to receive YAHWEH’S GRACE.

New Covenant: We believe that at baptism we enter into the promised “new covenant” with Yahweh. “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them” (Hebrews 10:16; Jeremiah 31:31-33; Ezekiel 36:26-27; Matthew 26:28). In the New Covenant, we are given the Holy Spirit with the Spirit of YAHSHUA to input into our hearts, His Law.  This event will continue until YAHSHUA returns and perfect His Law in our hearts – this will be permanent impartation of a new heart and a new spirit, thus perfecting our hearts to receive Yahweh’s LAWS.  Today, the New Covenant renewed by YAHSHUA with His precious BLOOD does not ‘do away’ or nullify Yahweh’s laws, rather it establishes it (Romans 3:31).  The New Covenant was made and established with the BLOOD of YAHSHUA after surrendering Himself to excruciating suffering and death in order to pay the price of our breaking the COVENANT that was established by “blood”.  The Law stated that breaking of that Covenant brings CURSE of death.  No man was able to deliver himself out of it but YAHSHUA.  To pay the price, Yahshua’s Blood replaced the old covenant made with blood of animals (animal sacrifices), thus “blotting out the handwriting of ordinances (i.e. curses) that was against us” (Colossians 2:14-17).  We have to continue to remember YAHSHUA’S work of redemption by yearly marking it in the FEAST OF PASSOVER until He returns (Matthew 26:26-28,29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).  To restore us into salvation and to help us keep the LAW, fruit’s SPIRIT was bestowed upon us. We believe that the Ten Commandments Law is holy, righteous, just and good; and it was magnified and made honourable by Yahshua (Romans 7:12; Isaiah 42:21).  According to the Bible, Yahshua came to magnify the Law and the Prophets.  Yahshua did not destroy the Law and the Prophets (Matt. 5: 17 – 19), because they bear the truth and the light of the gospel (Isaiah 8:20).  At baptism we make solemn covenant with Yahweh NOT to break the Covenant Commandments again.  Baptism signifies surrender to YAHSHUA and to live a holy life for YAHWEH!  It is Messiah who actually lives His obedient life in us through the Holy Spirit.  As the Apostle Paul was inspired to write, “I am crucified with Messiah: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Messiah liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of YAHWEH who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20,KJV).

iv. Receiving Yahweh’s Holy Spirit

We believe that when we repent, accept Yahshua and are baptized into Him, Yahweh forgives us our sins (Acts 2:38; cf. Psalm 103:3, 10-13). If we are truly to overcome sin, we must receive Yahweh’s “power from on high” (Luke 24:49); baptise into the Name of YAHSHUA and receive the gift of His Spirit (Acts 2:38). Through Yahweh’s dynamic Spirit we can keep His commandments. According to New Testament teaching, the Holy Spirit is given through the laying on of the hands of Messiah’s Apostles, or elders (Acts 8:17; 9:17; 19:6; 2 Timothy 1:6).

v. Exercising “living” faith

According to the Word of Yahweh, faith is vital for salvation, being one of the foundational doctrines of the Bible (Hebrews 6:1). “Without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6). But living faith involves doing what Yahweh says, obeying Him! “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:20).  We must have absolute faith in Yahshua if we must enter into the Kingdom.

vi. Growing in the “grace and knowledge of Yahweh”

After repentance, acceptance of Messiah, baptism and receipt of the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands (Acts 8:17-18), the baptized and newly begotten child of Yahweh must continue to “grow in the grace and knowledge of Yahshua” (2 Peter 3:18). “Glorification”—putting on immortality—is the final step in receiving salvation (1 Corinthians 15:53). Ultimate salvation for mankind will come at glorification in His Kingdom (Ephesians 5:27; Philippians 3:21; 2 Timothy 2:10).

10. ANNUAL FESTIVALS – YAHWEH’S MASTER PLAN OF SALVATION

Yahweh’s Annual Festivals or Feasts are listed in Leviticus 23 and in Deuteronomy 16 picturing Yahweh’s Master Plan of SALVATION.  These Yahweh-given Holy Days were commanded to be observed “forever” (Leviticus 23:14, 21, 31, 41). Yahshua and the Apostles observed the annual Sabbaths (John 7; Acts 2; 12:3-4; 18:21; 20:6, 16; 27:9; 1 Corinthians 16:8). These Sabbaths will continue to be observed during Messiah’s millennial rule (Zechariah 14:1, 9, 16-19).

We believe and keep Yahweh’s annual Feasts pictured in the seven vital steps in His plan of salvation:

  1. The Passover pictures the sacrifice of Yahshua Messiah, the “Lamb of Yahweh” (John 1:29, 36; Revelation 5:6) sacrificed for us, (1 Corinthians 5:7). Yahshua established the New Testament Passover with the symbols of bread and wine (1 Corinthians 11:23-26). Passover teaches us to get rid of sin and prepare ourselves for second coming of our Yahweh and eternal life (Matthew 26:29).
  2. The Seven Days of Unleavened Bread typify purging the leaven of malice and wickedness out of the believer’s life, and partaking of Yahweh’s nature, the “unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Corinthians 5:6-13; Luke 12:1).
  3. The Feast of Firstfruits (Shavuot or Pentecost) pictures the small harvest of “begotten” followers of Messiah who will be harvested at the “first resurrection” when He returns (Revelation 20:4-5), as “a kind of Firstfruits” (James 1:18).
  4. The Feast of Trumpetspoints prophetically to the second coming of Yahshua Messiah as King of kings and Sovereign of sovereigns (Matthew 24:31; 1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thess. 4:13-17; Revelation 11:15-18; 19:15; 20:6; Zechariah 14:9).
  5. The Day of Atonementpictures the banishment of Satan, and man’s becoming “at   one” with Yahweh. Believers mark Day of Atonement with Fasting and Prayer for        forgiveness of sins (Leviticus 16:8, 10, 15-27; Revelation 20:1-3).
  6. The Feast of Tabernaclespictures the soon-coming wonderful world under the government of Yahshua Messiah and His saints. It also pictures period of large harvest at millennial reign of Messiah. The Firstfruits are being prepared for the large harvest, when they will reign with Messiah (Zechariah 14; Matthew 9:37-38; 13:1-30; Luke 12:32; John 7:6-14; Acts 17:31; Revelation 12:9; 20:4-6).
  7. The Last Great Dayfeatures the great judgment that will occur at the end of the millennial reign of Yahshua Messiah on earth (John 7:37; Leviticus 23:36, 39, 33-34; Revelation 20:11-12).

11. LAWS OF YAHWEH

We believe the Laws of Yahweh must be obeyed. Yahweh’s basic spiritual laws are summed up in the “Ten Commandments” (read Exodus 20:1-17; Deuteronomy 4:13; 10:4). In the “Sermon on the Mount” and elsewhere, Yahshua magnified Yahweh’s law (Matthew chapters 5 – 7; Isaiah 42:21), showing His followers that they must obey both the ‘letter and the “spirit” of the law. “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good” (Romans 7:12). It is practicing this way of life—through Messiah living in us (Galatians 2:20)—that makes one a true “saint” (Revelation 14:12).  Neither grace, nor faith erased the law. Rom. 3: 31.  Apostle Paul defended the law and prophets – Acts 24: 14; 26: 22. The spiritual or moral law of Yahweh is different from the sacrificial or ceremonial laws [blood sacrifices], which Messiah took away at the stake. No more blood sacrifices after the death of Yahshua Messiah.

12. YAHWEH’S SABBATH

The Word of Yahweh reveals that “the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahweh” (Exodus 20:10; Deuteronomy 5:14; Exodus 31:12-17). It is to be observed from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. It is Yahweh’s “sign” between Him and His faithful people—picturing Yahweh’s “rest” and reminding us that He is the Creator of heaven and earth (Revelation 7:14); and He must be worshipped on the Sabbath day which He sanctified and made holy. It also pictures the Millennium—the coming 1,000-year “rest” when Messiah returns as King of kings (Hebrews 4:1-4; Revelation 20:4-6). Yahshua Messiah, the Apostles, and the early Church always observe Yahweh’s commanded Sabbath, (Luke 4:16; Acts 17:2), and it will be observed by “all flesh” during Messiah’s coming millennial rule over the earth (Isaiah 66:23). Yahshua commanded apostles to continue its observance till He returns (Matthew 26:29; 1 Corinthians 11:26).

13. SIN AND CONSEQUENCES

“Sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4). “Sin is the transgression of the law [of Yahweh]” (1 John 3:4, KJV); “All have sinned and come short of the glory of Yahweh” (Romans 3:23) and “the wages [payoff] of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). We believe that anyone that call upon His name must jettison sin and follow Messiah.

 14. FIRST DEATH

Death is the natural “cessation of life” (Genesis 2:17; Ezekiel 18:4). “In Adam all die” (1 Corinthians 15:22). “It is appointed for men to die once” (Hebrews 9:27). After experiencing the “first death,” all human beings will be resurrected back to life. The Bible reveals that all human beings, eventually, will be resurrected (John 5:28; 1 Corinthians 15:22). But the just would rise first to reign with Yahshua, followed by the wicked – who died without Messiah.

15. SECOND DEATH

The “second death” is eternal death—total annihilation or complete separation from the Father. Those who experience the second death shall never again regain consciousness (Malachi 4:1; Matthew 10:28; 25:46); although they will be called to life to render account, but damnation will be their portion (John 5:28; 1 Corinthians 15:22). The second death is, in fact, total extinction, (Revelation 20:14-15). “If we sin wilfully” after having received the knowledge of the truth, there is no forgiveness of such wilful sin (Hebrews 6:4-8; 10:26-31).

16. BORN AGAIN

With a physical human birth, there must first be begettal (by the male), and “conception” (by the female). With a spiritual birth, there must first be a spiritual begettal and conception. Then, after a period of spiritual gestation or spiritual growth (2 Peter 3:18), true Believers is giving a new conversion experience immediately after genuine baptism whereby the individual receives the gift of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22–23). Finally, at resurrection, the Believer undergoes spiritual birth, whereby the believer puts on eternal body; the believer becomes immortal being – thereby becoming immortal child of Yahweh. At this stage, one is spiritually born again [second time] into the Family of Yahweh as a son or daughters of Yahweh – as Messiah Himself was when He resurrected and “declared to be the Son of Yahweh with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead” (Romans 1:4). 17. HIERARCHY OF AUTHORITY

The Father is supreme in authority, and His Son Yahweh Messiah is under Him in rank and authority (John 14:28), though they are One in character. The Father is the head of the Son (1 Corinthians 11:3), and the Son is the Head of the Assembly (Ephesians 5:23).  Yahweh governs with LAW, which is LOVE, and continues this pattern throughout His Assembly. Under the Father and His Son, Yahshua Messiah, the Assembly is led by: [1] apostles, [2] prophets, [3] evangelists, [4] pastors and [5] teachers (Ephesians 4:11). Jewish’s way of governance is top down system (Exodus 18:21-26).

However, Yahshua taught us to adopt Servant Leadership style because we must live by His set example (John 13:15). He said, “You know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; and whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:25-28, KJV). The top-down pyramidic hierarchical style was cancelled by Messiah and He introduced ‘servant-leadership’ where the leader must be ready to serve the led.

18. HISTORY OF ASSEMBLY [CHURCH]

Assembly of the Living Yahweh traces its history from the Apostolic age in the Book of Acts 2 to the present. Yahshua’s seven Assemblies received message in Revelation 2 & 3 and Acts 2, thus marking successive history of the true Congregation from that time forward. These seven Assemblies describe the characteristics of Yahweh’s Congregation. We believe that Yahshua choose the seven Assemblies as a reflection of the features of His entire Congregation, which operates through all ages amongst nations, though they may be few. We believe that those various Assemblies today are in operation but they must meet the characteristics identified by Yahshua Messiah for them to qualify for the kingdom when He returns; else those that did not REPENT as commanded would be cast into Great Tribulation. It is the aspiration of every Assembly to be like the Philadelphia Assembly to pursue LOVE and FAITH of Yahshua Messiah and to keep Yahweh’s commandments in this last days. The historical antecedents has been to keep the commandments and faith of Yahshua.

19. TITHING

We believe in paying our tithes to Yahweh as commanded. Tithing was established by Yahweh in the Old Testament (Malachi 3:10; Genesis 14:18-20; Genesis 28:20-22) and confirmed by YAHSHUA MESSIAH and Apostles in the New Testament (Matthew 23:23; Hebrew 7:2,4). It is applicable and binding upon Believers today.  Firstly – tithe is for preaching of the Gospel, and instructing or educating brethren. Secondly, Tithe is a major source of Assembly’s income that provides the means for observing the Holy Feasts. Thirdly, Tithe is for the needy in the Assembly.

Yahweh is the Creator of everything that exists (Revelation 4:11). As YAHWEH of the universe, He exercises ownership and control over all His creation (Acts 17:24-29). Yahshua Messiah said men “ought” to tithe (Matthew 23:23). The Bible shows that “All the tithe… is Yahweh’s” (Leviticus 27:30). Long before the Old Covenant, Abraham—the father of the faithful”—paid a tithe to Yahweh’s representative, Melchizedek (Genesis 14:20). Through tithing, believers serve Yahweh by supporting the preaching of the Gospel, attendance at His Feasts or Festivals and the care of the needy.  Tithing is a command from Yahweh. Withholding tithing attracts Yahweh’s curse.  The person is called a robber, and it is clear that no robber or thief will inherit Yahweh’s Kingdom, Malachi 3: 8, 10 – 12.  Tithe is 10 percent of one’s earnings.

20. OFFERINGS

The patriarchal Fathers gave Yahweh their best Offerings. At times Yahweh demands such offerings Himself. “Take ye from among you an offering unto YAHWEH: whosoever is of willing heart. Let him bring it, an offering of YAHWEH; gold, and silver, and brass…  Yahshua approved an offering of “a certain poor widow” putting her offering in the offering bag.  He said: “For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of Yahweh: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.” [Gen. 4: 3 – 5; Lev. 1: 2; Exod. 35: 5; Luke 21:1 – 4].

21. MARRIAGE

We believe in Yahweh’s institution of marriage – one man – one wife.  Yahweh forbid marriage of man and man, and woman and woman (Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26; Hebrew 13:4). Marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman. Since Yahweh made us male and female, He is the Author of marriage institution. Marriage is a type of the relationship between Messiah and the Assembly (Ephesians 5:22-33). Marriage between a man and a woman is honourable before Yahweh. Yahshua did not approve frivolous excuses the Jewish leaders were applying to divorce their wives (given certificate of divorce). He reminded them that Yahweh made them one indivisible person.  Yahweh said he hate divorce (Malaki 2:16). Yahshua approves celibacy as well.  A man or woman may not marry but remain pure for Yahweh. Marriage is binding on believers until death (Matthew 19:3-12). It has been variously suggested that the exceptional clause to divorce by act of unchastity and to re-marry was an insertion, and not the original word of Yahshua. Apostle Paul was also clear that divorce is not the believer’s way. “And unto the married I command, yet not I, but Yahweh, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.” (1 Corinthians 7:10-11).

22. OVERCOMING RACIAL PREJUDICE

Yahweh’s Word commands all mankind to love neighbours as themselves (Leviticus 19:18; Matthew 22:39; Acts 17:24-29). Yahweh reveals that salvation is now freely offered to both Jews and Gentiles (Acts 10:34-35; Romans 10:12-13; cf. Joel 2:32). We believe love and deep respect should be shown to people of all ethnicities (Romans 13:10).

23. SEPARATION FROM THE WORLD

The Bible teaches that Satan the devil has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9); that Yahweh’s people need to be separate from the world’s systems, i.e. sinful way of living  (John 15:19; Revelation 18:4).

This separation means that those called of Yahweh live a different way of life and that we are in a real sense Ambassadors of Yahweh’s Kingdom or Government (Ephesians 6:20; 1 Peter 2:9-10).  We are called to separate ourselves from every form of corruption.

24. MILITARY SERVICE AND WAR

Assembly of the Living Yahweh follows the teaching of Yahshua and His Apostles in keeping to Yahweh’s commandments. Yahshua said, “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either” (Luke 6:27-29). The Apostle James, brother of Yahshua, continued teaching Yahshua’ message concerning violence and war (James 4:1-10). Yahweh taught that killing violates His commandments – “Thou shalt not murder” (Exodus 20:13). Yahshua pointed this out to the Jews who wanted to kill Him, and because of this act, He told them that they were not sons of Abraham and Yahweh – that their father was the devil (John 8:42-44; 10:10). If enrolling in the military will not lead to murder, that is fine.  But if enrolling might result to shedding of blood that will amount to breaking Yahweh’s sixth commandment – which says you shall not kill.  And no believer will like to disobey His Creator.  Assembly of the Living Yahweh has historically considered military service wrong as this will ultimately lead to taking one’s life.  Records show that from the American Revolution through the two World Wars and subsequent police actions, Assemblies of Yahweh have consistently held to conscientious objection against military participation.

 25. DIVINE HEALING

We believe in Yahweh’s divine healing power! Healing is one of the “spiritual gifts” (1 Corinthians 12:1, 9). One of Yahweh’s Hebrew title-name is Yahweh Ropheka, meaning the Eternal who heals.  Yahweh “forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases” (Psalm 103:3; 1 Peter 2:24). “Is anyone among you sick?  Let him call for the elders of the Assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Yahweh.  And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and Yahweh will raise him up.  And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.  The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:14-16).  Yahshua commands His Assembly to preach the gospel of the kingdom, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out devils (Matthew 10:8).  Assembly of the Living Yahweh follows this direct biblical instruction.  We believe that Yahweh does heal today according to one’s faith and Yahweh’s will in each particular case.

26. YAHWEH’S HEALTH LAW CONCERNING MEATS

We believe that we must eat ‘clean foods’ and not ‘unclean’ foods.  Genesis 7:1-2, Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 give Yahweh’s instructions concerning what He created “clean” (edible) and “unclean” (inedible).  Long after the crucifixion, Peter still recognized this law as binding (Acts 10:14). Moreover, after his vision of unclean animals brought down on a sheet, Peter exclaimed: “YAHWEH has shown me that I should call no man common or unclean” (v. 28).  As the Word of Yahweh must be obeyed, we keep to Yahweh’s instructions not to eat unclean animals.  Yahshua did not reckon dogs and swine as clean animals during His earthly ministry. Would you eat them?  Do not eat what is unclean for the sake of your health! The Bible, sets apart certain “clean” foods that may be eaten; and certain foods called “unclean,” that are not to be eaten.  Unclean foods violate our bodies, which are the temple wherein Yahweh’s Holy Spirit dwells.  Yahweh says, “Be ye holy, as I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16; Leviticus 11:44).

27. ORIGIN OF MODERN ISRAELITES

One of the most vital keys to understanding prophecy is to know the true biblical origin of the Jews and the “lost” ten tribes of Israel (Yahweh knows where they are) — who were dispersed Northwest European countries and settled by their descendants, across Europe, Africa and Asia.

Yahweh’s Word reveals that Jacob’s descendants from Joseph will be overtaken by a time of great trouble—a time called “Jacob’s trouble” i.e. Great Tribulation — because they have dishonored the Creator who gave them the greatest national blessings in human history (Deuteronomy 31:16-17; 32:16-17; Jeremiah 30:4-7; Matthew 24:21; Daniel 12:1).  The Bible says that Israelites are scattered all over the world – Europe, Africa, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia.  Whereas Israel of old sinned and were scattered abroad, the new Israel still scattered into foreign lands will be delivered in this latter days after they REPENT of their SINS and the sins of their fathers, and accept YAHSHUA MESSIAH as their Sovereign Saviour.  Israelite of today is anyone who believes and baptise in the Name of Yahshua and keep the Commandments of YAHWEH. Individuals who keep the Covenant Commandments of Yahweh and have faith in Yahshua belongs to Israel that will be saved and restored into the LAND OF ISRAEL (Isaiah 11:10-16; Leviticus 26:40-45; Deuteronomy 4:27-30; Deuteronomy 30:1-10; Ezekiel 34; Ezekiel 36; Matthew 24:29-31; Revelation 12:6,14; Revelation 14:12; 22:14).

28. THE GREAT TRIBULATION

We believe the warning of Yahshua concerning great tribulation in this last days. The Bible speaks of a time of great catastrophe, called the “Great Tribulation” (Matthew 24:21-22; Daniel 11:40-45; 12:1; Luke 21:19-36) — also called “Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:3-7). Yahshua Messiah Himself will have to shorten those hellish days, otherwise “no flesh will be saved” (Matthew 24:22). We believe that we are fast approaching that time. The land mark signs proclaimed by YAHSHUA is already visible everywhere (Matthew 24; Luke 21; Mark 13).

Besides, we believe that fallen Babylon is this world of iniquity which has rejected Yahweh, Yahshua Messiah and His commandments. We believe that the modern Babylon will be judged as prescribed by Yahweh. The fallen Babylon has been revealed in this last days as crashing down…  People are warned to flee, Revelation 18:4; Jeremiah 51: 6 – 8, 45; Rev. 14: 7 – 8.  Babylon of today is this sinful world system that forsake YAHWEH in their affairs. Today’s Babylon thrives in MAMMON (Money), RELIGIONS which are idolatrous, WICKEDNESS (see Genesis Chapter 6; Matthew 6:24; Luke 16:13; Romans 6:16; Revelation 14:9-11). The disobedient will be meted with the wrath of Yahweh.

29. THE DAY OF YAHWEH

The Day of Yahweh, mentioned in more than 30 places in the Bible, will be a time of Yahweh’s intervention in the affairs of men on this earth, when He will punish the inhabitants of the earth for their flagrant sins (Joel 1:14-20; 2:1-32; 3:9-17).  According to Matthew 24:29-31, there will be signs in heaven, “the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven” immediately after the tribulation and before the Day of YAHWEH. Yahweh said, “I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth… The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of YAHWEH” (Joel 2:30-31). In fact, the Bible records that YAHSHUA will destroy the wicked that destroy the Earth during the Day of Yahweh’s wrath (Revelation 11:18).

30. MESSIAH’S SECOND COMING

We believe Yahshua Messiah will return to set up the Kingdom of the Father on Earth.  Yahshua solemnly promised His disciples ten times in Matthew 24 that He would assuredly “come again” to this earth (cf. John 14:3).  He said “tribulation” would precede the coming of the Son of Man (Matthew 24:29-30). His coming, with a “great sound of a trumpet” (v. 31) will occur when the “seventh trumpet” sounds (Revelation 11:15). That trumpet is also called the “last trumpet” (1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). This is the “first resurrection,” and those who take part in that resurrection will reign with YAHSHUA Messiah on earth “for a thousand years” (Revelation 5:9-10; 20:4, 6); and second death has no power over them. We members of Assembly of the Living Yahweh endeavours to keep the instructions of Yahshua: to watch and pray (Luke 21:36) so as to escape the coming tribulation and stand before Him.  All that overcome will be the firstfruit and will reign with Him during the millennium and thereafter.

31. THE MILLENNIUM

According to the Scriptures, millennium reign will last for 1,000 years.  “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of YAHWEH and of YAHWEH and of MESSIAH, and shall reign with Him a thousand (1,000) years” (Revelation 20:6).  We believe Yahshua will reign with his obedient servants, i.e. saints during millennium reign.  Old and New Testament prophets foresaw a wonderful time of peace on this earth when YAHSHUA will reign on the Earth (Isaiah 2; 9; 11:6-9; 14:7; Jeremiah 31; Micah 4; Zechariah 8:20-23; 14; Malachi 4; Acts 3:19-21; Revelation 20:4-6). The Millennium—the 1,000-year reign of Yahshua Messiah and His saints—is that time, and that will continue in the new heavens and the new earth.  Yahshua’s feet will touch at Mount Olive and His elect will be gathered to Him there.  Zech. 14: 3- 5.

32. THE LAST JUDGMENT

There are three great periods of judgment mentioned in the Bible:

  • The Assembly Ageduring which Yahweh judges only His own people—those called out of the world into His Assembly (1 Peter 4:17).
  • The Millennial Agein which all nations will be exposed to YAHSHUA Messiah’s truth and to His wonderful way of life for 1,000 years (Isaiah 11:9; Revelation 20:2-6).
  • The “Last Judgment” Age(called the “Great White Throne Judgment”) in which all who have ever lived, that rejected the truth will be resurrected and they will stand before the presence of the Son of Man – Yahshua Messiah – and every one of them will give account of their stewardship.  After this last judgement, comes the end of the wicked.  All those found guilty will face eternal death.  Finally, all the unrepentant wicked would be crushed and grounded into powder.

 33. THE FIRST FRUITS: MEMBERS OF YAHWEH’S FAMILY

Yahweh created mankind out of the “dust of the earth” (Genesis 2:7). Human beings are made in Yahweh’s “image [and] likeness” (Genesis 1:26; cf. 5:3); they are also given Yahweh-like mind and emotions. Yahweh planned that those who repent of their sins and are baptized in the Name of YAHSHUA shall receive Yahweh’s Spirit for eternal life (Acts 2:38-39; John 3:16; 4:14; 6:40).  At Messiah’s second coming, all of those converted in this life, whether dead or alive (saints), will be given immortality—born anew as full “sons of Yahweh, being sons of the resurrection” (Luke 20:36; John 3:5-6; 1 Corinthians 15:44,50).

“Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5; cf. Psalm 37:9, 11, 22, 29, 34). “He who overcomes shall inherit all things [the universe]” (Revelation 21:7).

According to all the prophecies and promises of the Bible, Yahweh’s “first-fruits” (those called and chosen in this age) will be rewarded with a place or position of rulership in Yahweh’s Kingdom (John 14:1-3; Revelation 3:21; 20:4-6), right here on this earth (Revelation 2:26-27; 5:10; Daniel 2:44). The true saints will become full sons of Yahweh — “sons of the resurrection” (Luke 20:36). Yahweh’s purpose is that He is reproducing Himself and that those converted, ultimately, become full members of the Family of Yahweh, under the authority of the Father and the Son (1 John 3:1-3).  The saints will share divine glory in the resurrection. Yahshua prayed, “And the glory (i.e. name – ‘YAH-SHUA’) which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one, as we are One” [John 17:22].

YAHSHUA’S PRAYERS TO HIS SAINTS: And now I AM no more in the world, but these (believers) are in the world, and I come to Thee.  Holy FATHER, keep through thine own NAME (YAHWEH) those whom thou hast given Me, that they may be one, as we are…And the glory (i.e. name – ‘YAH-SHUA’) which Thou (Father) gavest Me I have given them (saints) that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me…And I have declared unto them Thy NAME (YAHWEH), and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them” (John 17:11,22-23,26).

We believe and have faith in Yahshua Messiah
