BIBLE COVENANT

Do you believe in the Bible? Do you know that the Bible is the BOOK OF COVENANT? Do you know that it’s the ‘Oracle of YAHWEH’ given to Israel at Mt. Sinai (Exodus Chapts. 19-20; Rom.3:1-3; Rom. 9:4)? The first five books of the Covenant Book [Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy] is called “Torah”. Torah is a Hebrew word for “Instruction” commonly called LAW.

Do you know that the TEN COMMANDMENTS is the summary of the LAW? It is summarised as LOVE: “Love for the Father”, and “love for the neighbour” (Exod. 20:1-17; Matt. 22:36-39, RSB). “On these two hangs the law and the prophets” (verse 40). Notice, YAHSHUA said, “I did not come to destroy the LAW and the PROPHETS…” Matt.5:17. Do you know that as a believer, you are bound to keep the LAW of Covenant (OT and NT)? Why then do men reject the Law of Covenant having heard it was not cancelled? He said, “If you LOVE Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15, RSB).

Let’s examine the Covenant and the consequences for disobeying it…
